A live blackworm subscription should match your feeding demand and receiving schedule. The highest percentage discount is not necessarily the lowest practical cost if deliveries arrive faster than you can use the worms. Compare the pack size, each delivery's shipping charge and the initial commitment together.
Compare the six options
| Delivery frequency | 3-month commitment | 6-month commitment |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | 12% off worms | 15% off worms |
| Every two weeks | 8% off worms | 10% off worms |
| Monthly | 5% off worms | 8% off worms |
These options are available on the live blackworm listing. Check that page and checkout for current prices and availability. The discount applies to worms; calculated overnight shipping is charged separately on every delivery.
A worked example using a $25 pack
At a $25 regular worm price, 12% off reduces the worm subtotal to $22.00. A 15% discount makes it $21.25. Neither amount includes shipping or applicable taxes.
To compare your real cost, use: discounted worm subtotal + shipping + applicable taxes. Calculate that for each scheduled delivery, not just the first one. A small difference in the worm discount does not tell you the full difference in total spending.
Choose frequency from recorded use
If worms remain unused before every new shipment, reconsider the quantity or frequency. If you run short while the stored supply is otherwise being maintained properly, review the opposite adjustment. A short feeding log provides a better starting point than tank volume alone; see how much blackworms to buy.
Confirm someone can receive the delivery promptly. A recurring order does not remove the need to monitor tracking, prepare storage and plan around travel. Shipping and weather can affect the arrival schedule; read our shipping information.
Understand the commitment before checkout
The initial commitment runs for the selected three or six calendar months from the first order. Orders continue afterward until canceled. If you cancel early, the policy calls for repayment only of subscription discounts already received on fulfilled, non-refunded orders. Staff calculates the amount and sends a separate itemized invoice for review and payment; repayment is not automatically charged. There is no charge for future deliveries.
For example, four fulfilled $25 packs discounted by 15% represent $15 in received discounts. That illustrates discount repayment, not an additional fixed cancellation fee. Read the complete subscription policy before selecting a commitment.
Not ready for recurring orders?
Use a one-time purchase to learn your feeding and maintenance routine first. A subscription is a convenience for predictable demand, not a requirement for purchasing live blackworms.
